Avoya becomes a Travel Leaders Network affiliate: Travel Weekly

Host agency Avoya Travel (No. 22 on Travel Weekly’s 2022 Power List) is now affiliated with Travel Leaders Network.

For years, Avoya had been a member of the American Express Representative Network, but American Express is discontinuing its agency affiliate program this year.

The disbanding of the Amex affiliate program has left several mega-agencies in search of new partners. Earlier this month, Cruise Planners (No. 18 on the Power List) said it would join Signature Travel Network.

Another Power List agency, Travelink, has not yet announced its plans.

Avoya said it “spent months meticulously researching and vetting potential partners.” The host agency said it chose Travel Leaders “based on a multitude of well-aligned visions and goals for both organizations,” including
what Avoya said was its own “aggressive” growth plans.

When private equity firm Certares bought a stake in Avoya in late 2021, Avoya co-CEO Jeff Anderson said it would accelerate the host agency’s plans to become become the industry’s top platform for leisure travel sales.

Travel Leaders Network president Roger Block said TLN and Avoya are “already working on strategic initiatives to increase leisure travel sales.”

Avoya said its patented lead-generation program, Live Leads, “will generate an abundance of opportunities for TLN.”
