Transportation

Taxi Service: On the upper/departures level, taxis can drop off passengers at their terminals. There are three places where arriving travelers can get taxis: right adjacent to Terminal 1 (you can walk there or use the complimentary shuttle to LAX-it. ), within Parking Structure 3 (between Terminals B and 3), or at the far end of Terminal 7 (away from baggage claim).

Ride-sharing Apps: The approved providers for LAX are Lyft, Opoli, and Uber. Passengers may be dropped off at terminals on the upper/departures level. Passengers can be picked up at the LAX-it lot close to terminal 1 for arriving travelers. Take the complimentary LAX-it shuttle or go for a walk.

Rental car agencies are outside the airport. Shuttles meet incoming passengers under the purple “Rental Car shuttles” sign on the Lower/Arrivals level islands.

Public transportation: L.A. Metro, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Torrance Transit, and Beach Cities Transit are just a few of the companies that offer service to LAX.

Shuttle services from major hotels in the airport district to LAX terminals are available. On the Upper/Departures level, shuttle stops are marked by red curbside pylons.
